As the weather cools and we move into winter, Maternal Mindspace offers a haven for mothers to explore the emotional and physical shifts that accompany both the season and the motherhood journey.

Facilitated by Jasmin Ford, APRN, PMHNP-BC, this 90-minute in-person session blends mindfulness, education, and community connection — helping participants cultivate emotional awareness and practical tools to navigate seasonal changes and the “winter blues.”

Part of the ongoing Maternal Mindspace series — nurturing maternal wellbeing through reflection, connection, and holistic care.

Hosted with the support of the Sonder Exchange Foundation, a community-rooted initiative uplifting wellness, creativity, and connection on Chicago’s South Side.



Jasmin Ford is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and community advocate committed to expanding access to mental health and wellness. As founder of Sirabanna Wellness Group and Seven Lights Psychiatry, she bridges clinical insight with community-based healing and education. Drawing from her own experiences in motherhood and service, Jasmin leads with authenticity and compassion, creating spaces where people feel seen and supported. Her approach blends evidence-based practice with a deep understanding of real-life challenges, empowering individuals and families alike to thrive. Through Maternal Mindspace, she hopes to foster open conversations about wellness, care, and the shared humanity in mental health.
